About the tea:
The classic tea blend Marrakesh Touarég contains Chinese green tea Gunpowder and Moroccan mint Nana (Mentha longifolia). This blend is the cornerstone of the tea culture of the Tuaregs, a Berber tribe roaming the pastures of North Africa. Although women are responsible for the cuisine, tea in this society is the domain of men. It can be said that it is a central element of social life, and its serving often takes on a ceremonial form.
Home preparation:
Pour one tablespoon of Le Touarég green tea (about 5g) into 250ml of boiling water and let it steep for 2.5 minutes. The tea is usually enjoyed with heavy sweetness.
