About the coffee
One of the world's most sought-after coffees, ideal for alternative home brewing. Notes of raspberry, blackberry and bergamot develop beautifully in the flavour of this Arabica, the aroma is intoxicatingly sweet, the acidity livelier. The coffee comes from the famous Koke region in southern Ethiopia, which mamacoffee founders Marta and Daniel Kolsky first visited during their honeymoon in 2007. They met local small farmers, visited their coffee gardens and took part in the coffee harvest. Since then, we have been to Koke many more times and supported the construction of a school that has been built there thanks to People in Need and the Czech Junák. We fell in love with the area and we hope you will too!
