This story began several years ago when we first visited the farm of Paulo Toledo in the heart of Brazil. But it all actually started much earlier, thanks to the historical legacy of the Czech shoemaker Bata. His employees traveled to the city of Franca near Sao Paulo to establish the shoemaking industry there. Today, this area is known not only for shoe production but also for excellent coffee. One of the descendants of these Zlín settlers knew about Paulo's desire to break through in the European market and our interest in direct collaboration with coffee farmers. Thanks to him, we met Paulo, and our mutually inspiring cooperation began.
We don't just buy his coffee – we share our years of experience with him and provide him with feedback. This allows us to increase the overall quality of the coffee every year. Paulo is not only a great farmer but also a man with a big heart. He takes care of his employees like family, and we are proud to be part of this story.
With every sip, you'll be surprised by rich tones of sweet chocolate, hazelnuts, and raisins. This Mundo Nuovo variety coffee is exceptional for its low acidity and natural processing, which enhances its full, creamy body. The coffee is best suited for espresso or moka pot preparation. When prepared in these ways, its full and creamy body will be released, immediately transporting you to the heart of Brazil.
