Bio Nicaragua COASSAN Women’s Project

In today's coffee world, where authenticity and story carry as much weight as taste, mamacoffee brings something truly exceptional: Bio Nicaragua COASSAN Women’s Project.

This coffee from Nicaragua is the result of collaboration between mamacoffee and six female farmers from the COASSAN cooperative in the Nicaraguan region of Jinotega. This project focuses on supporting women in the coffee world, where it can sometimes be difficult for them to assert themselves. Collaborating with these women not only helps develop their community but also brings to market coffee of very high quality, along with a unique story.

The coffee comes from an altitude ranging between 1,000 and 1,050 meters above sea level, which contributes to its unique profile. It is 100% Arabica, specifically from the Caturra, Catimor, Catuai, and Parainema varieties. Thanks to washed processing and medium roasting, this coffee offers a harmonious combination of milk chocolate tones with anise and red apples. The coffee is sweet with mild acidity and a medium body, making it ideal for preparing homemade espresso or in a moka pot.

This is a direct trade import under the mamacoffee direct brand, which supports fair prices and sustainable agricultural practices. This coffee is also certified organic, meaning it is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, making it not only a tasty but also an ethically responsible choice.

Bio Nicaragua COASSAN Women’s Project from mamacoffee is not just another coffee on the shelf. It is a story of strength and resilience, a taste experience, and an ethical choice. This coffee is proof that when we give opportunities to those who need them most, we can create something truly extraordinary together.
