I co-founded Mamacoffee with my husband. My role is to set the direction for the company and monitor the guidelines of its operation. I also work as a social worker for a home hospice. I enjoy irony and the color of ripe coffee cherries.
What does mamacoffee mean to you?
For me, Mamacoffee is like a grown-up child that I'm proud of. It has shown me that it's worth trying things, even when they seem unrealistic. Mamacoffee represents a combination of freedom and responsibility for me.
What is your favorite kind of coffee?
I like to take my time with coffee, so I rarely drink it from a paper cup. I prefer having coffee in the afternoon rather than in the morning. I used to be enthusiastic about milk foam, but now I only drink black coffee. I like fruity tones in my coffee; Ethiopian coffee has been my favorite since our honeymoon trip to Yirga Cheffee in 2007.
